While it is true that emotions are an important facet of this reality, they can present significant challenges as they have tendencies to become visceral, distracting and quite overwhelming at certain times and situations. Learning to not becoming overly responsive to your emotions is a tremendous undertaking but will pay dividends beyond the effort put forth in a daily practice.
